2018 UNIUYO SUG Elections: Sito Akpan drops from Presidential Race

Another aspirant for the position of President in the coming 2018 UNIUYO SUG Elections, Sito Akpan has dropped from the race. He made this known in a post dated 12th June, 2018 at about 12.38pm.

He stated no reason for this, leaving questions of whether he was screened out, if he couldn’t submit his form or he intentionally dropped.

This news supposedly reduces the number of candidates contesting in the 2018 UNIUYO SUG Elections for the post of President to 6. Nevertheless, we still await the results of the screening conducted by the Students’ Affairs department to ascertain the exact number of candidates who will be vying for the post of President and other Executive and Senate positions
