University of Uyo Governing Council holds 85th Meeting, Inspects Ongoing Projects.

The Governing Council on the University of Uyo has embarked on an inspection tour of projects within the University Community as part of activities for the 85th Meeting of the Governing Council which resumed on Monday 20th May 2019.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Enefiok Essien SAN and the Registrar Mr. Aniediabasi Udofia led the Chairman Prof. Austin Awujo and other members of the Governing Council on an inspection tour of over 16 ongoing projects.

Some of the projects inspected include:

  1. Construction of Law Main Building
  2. Construction of Lecturers’ offices for Faculty of Engineering.
  3. Construction and Furnishing of Environmental Studies Building
  4. Construction of Advance Space Technology Applications Laboratories (South-South Zonal Office)
  5. Construction of Laboratory Block for Faculty of Clinical Science

The Vice Chancellor added that the University was committed to infrastructural development on campus and is working judiciously to ensure the completion of those projects within their designated time frames
