Former Speaker of the AKS House of Assembly and Member, House of Representatives. Hon. Onofiok Luke, emerged as President of the University Of Uyo Alumni Association, in the elections held yesterday.

Rt. Hon. Luke, who is also a former SUG President (2003), emerged as President of the Alumni Association, unopposed.

Other members of the new Executive Committee are:
Dr. Godwin Akpan – Deputy National President
Dr. Jude Iwok – Vice President (East)
Mr. Olawale Maku – Vice President (West)
Dr. Essien Akpanuko – General Secretary
Mfon Essien – Assistant Secretary
Barr. Ini Ememobong – Public Relations Officer
Samuel Effiong – Treasurer
Ekong Eshiet – Internal Auditor
Uduak Akai – Director of Organisation

The new executive committee will conduct the affairs of the Alumni Association from 2020 – 2024.
