The President, Students’ Union, University of Uyo, Comr. Emmanuel Akpan, on behalf of the entire Union wishes to felicitate and warmly congratulate the newly appointed Dean of Students’ Affairs, (Barr.) Etefia Ekanem Phd and the Vice Dean, Dr. Essien Akpanuko.

The Union sees this appointment as very worthy and an opportunity for the duo to bring their wealth of experience to bare in attending to students’ matters. Therefore, in this manner, the Presidency uses this medium to specially appreciate the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Enefiok Essien (SAN) for his insight and high sense of determination to offer only the best to the Nigerian Students.

The Union, under the leadership of Comr. Emmanuel Akpan has promised readiness to partner and work with the new heads of the Students’ Affairs deanery to ensure maximum students’ welfare and prompt attention to addressing issues bothering the student community.
