SUG congratulates Ndaeyo, VC Elect

Today, the SUG President, University of Uyo, Comr. Emmanuel Akpan led a powerful delegation of students’ leaders to officially congratulate the University of Uyo, Vice Chancellor(elect), Prof. Nyaudo Ndaeyo.

The delegation which comprised of Executive members of the Students’ Union led by the President; the SUG Senate, led by the Senate President; Presidents of Faculties, Executive members of NANS JCC, led by the Chairman; Traditional rulers council in the Students community (Annang, Oro and Ibibio); and the Chief of Staff to the SUG President.

In their addresses, the President Comr. Emmanuel Akpan, who spoke unbehalf of the Executive members of the Union; the NANS JCC chairman, Comr. Edidiong Uko, who spoke unbehalf of NANS; the Vice President, SUG, Comr. Phina Sunday, who spoke for the female Students; the Senate President, Sen. Edwin Godwin, who spoke for the SUG Senate and Etioro the 8th, HRM Samuel Okon who spoke for the Students’ Traditional rulers council all congratulated the Vice Chancellor elect and promised unalloyed support during his tenure.

The Dean of Students’ Affairs, Ass. Prof. Etefia Ekanem who received the students delegation alongside the Vice Chancellor elect commended the Students’ leaders for their insight and applauded their orderliness.

The Vice Chancellor elect, Prof. Ndaeyo, in his speech appreciated the students’ leaders for their Goodwill messages and promised maximum support for the University community always.
The DOI, SUG, Comr. Lucky Wonte in his vote of thanks appreciated the Vice Chancellor for the reception and promised projection and protection of Uniuyo as a Shining Brand, online and offline.
